Fetish bowls are rare. They are made to
be home to fetish carvings, which are attached on four sides
of the bowl, with one lodged inside. A circular hole in the side of the
bowl allows the fetishes to be fed
from time to time. This one was
created by the grand-daughter of of Teddy Weahkie. The fetishes are carved
from various stones. Ground cornmeal
is included to feed the fetishes.
