PC48 - Figurative pot, brownware, two tiers, top with face portrayed
16" high by 9" diameter
Purchased from the potter, Mercedes Riviera, at her studio
adjacent to the Santa clara Pueblo in 1999, under the assumption that
she was a Santa Clara Pueblo member. We have heard from Ms Rivera that
she is not Santa Clara or Native American Indian, but is Puerto Rican.
We still love the pot, but have drastically reduced its price in recognition
that it is not Santa Clara-made.
Now $900, was US$1,550 Satisfaction
