(Recent discussions with other authorities have suggested that this unsigned pot MAY
be the work of Nampeyo. According to the research, at one point Nampeyo was contracted by
Fred Harvey to create pots like this with human features. She agreed for economic reasons
but eventually tired of doing them and stopped. Given those circumstances, it is entirely
possible that Nampeyo refused to sign any of these pots.)
