Diane began pottery making career when she was 21. Her specialty, as shown by this example, is beautifully formed and delicately painted seed pots and small bowls.

Diane Lewis was born into Acoma Pueblo’s Yellow Corn Clan 1960. Diane and her sisters, Marilyn Ray, Carolyn Lewis-Concho, Judy Lewis and Rebecca Lucario, all daughters of Katherine Lewis, are all traditional potters who are highly regarded.
