Native American Acoma BL Cerno signed canteen-style pot, white slip with black over-paint and twisted handles. B.L. (Brenda) Cerno was born to Daisy and Stan Leonni 1959. She has been active in Acoma Pueblo pottery for decades. She specializes in finely defined animal portrayals and embellishments that employ strong geometric accents.

B.L., as she signs her work, has won awards at the New Mexico State Fair, in Albuquerque.
