Diane Lewis was born into Acoma Pueblo’s Yellow Corn Clan 1960. Diane and her sisters, Marilyn Ray, Carolyn Lewis-Concho, Judy Lewis and Rebecca Lucario, all daughters of Katherine Lewis, are all traditional potters who are highly regarded.

Diane began career as a pottery artist when she was 21. Her specialty, as shown by this example, is beautifully formed and delicately painted seed pots and small bowls.
