PM29 Navajo Christine McHorse pottery canteen
Native American Navajo pottery canteen in the style of an ear of corn by Christine McHorse, one of the most celebrated Navajo potters. This masterful work is made from the micacious clay of her home area.
In recent years, she as moved towards bronzes. It is unusual for a pot like this, attributed to Christine by the Wheelwright Museum, to be on the market. We acquired it at the Wheelwright Museum in Santa Fe. Created in 2006.
10" x 2.5" diameter.
