Additional Info

An unusual aspect of this Santa Clara storyteller figure is the glazed surface. Most pottery created out of Santa Clara has a hand-polished finish, made by stone polishing the slip. Maria Naranjo chose to glaze her figure. The effect is stunning. We acquired this impressive pottery figure from the Wheelwright Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA
